Golf Du Soleil

Agadir Marocco · 36 holes · Par 72

By Felix Proske14 April 2026

Very well-maintained 36-hole course near Agadir with wide fairways, true greens and top infrastructure. Heavily played but ideal for consistent, relaxed golf with a good training base.

Strengths

  • Central location near golf hotels
  • 36-hole facility with plenty of variety
  • Very good practice facilities (range & short game)
  • Generous, fair fairways
  • True, easy-to-read greens
  • Very friendly and professional staff
  • Caddie service with genuine quality
  • High cart availability and quick service
  • Beautiful clubhouse with great views
  • Buggy bar on the course (drinks & snacks)
  • Good overall package for golf trips

Weaknesses

  • One of the most played courses in Agadir → often slow
  • Occasional quality variations on greens
  • Overcrowded in peak season
  • Few real signature holes
  • Less suitable for quick rounds

Golf du Soleil is one of the most central and versatile golf facilities in Agadir — solid, well-maintained and ideal for consistent golf on a relaxed, yet high-quality course.

Location & Character

The facility is centrally located in Agadir, just a few minutes from the major golf hotels. Set within a maintained, partly tree-rich landscape with palms and open spaces, the course offers a classic, quiet golfing environment without extreme natural staging.

Course Overview

Golf du Soleil offers a 36-hole facility with two different characters. While the Champions Course feels more classic and mature, the other course appears more open with more palms and width. The facility is generously laid out and clearly structured.

Playing Experience

The course is very playable and fairly set up. Wide fairways give confidence from the tee, even though the gently undulating terrain consistently demands clean ball striking.

The greens are true, not very tricky and reward clean, controlled play. Overall, the emphasis is less on spectacle and more on a solid, consistent golfing experience.

Course Maintenance & Condition

Maintenance is generally good. Fairways present themselves reliably, greens play stable and predictable. In peak season, high utilisation can lead to minor quality fluctuations.

Practice Facilities & Infrastructure

Training facilities are a clear plus. A generous driving range, very good putting greens and a well-designed short game area offer ideal conditions for structured practice.

Additionally, caddie service, high cart availability and quick help with any issues ensure smooth operations.

Club Life & Atmosphere

The clubhouse in oriental style offers a beautiful terrace overlooking key fairways and water. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and internationally influenced. Service is attentive and reliable.

Who Is It For

Ideal for golfers of all handicap levels seeking a well-accessible, fair and maintained course. Particularly suited for golf trips focusing on training, repetition and consistent play.

Less suited for players expecting quick rounds or spectacular signature courses.

Felix Proske's Verdict

Golf du Soleil is a clear recommendation for golf trips to Agadir. The combination of location, playability and infrastructure makes the course an ideal base for multiple rounds per week.

Not the most spectacular course — but one that reliably works and delivers exactly what many golfers are looking for.

Conclusion

Golf du Soleil is a solid, very well-maintained course with a strong overall package. Especially through location, infrastructure and playability — ideal for golf trips. Not the most spectacular course, but one you can easily play multiple times per week.
